A family in San Diego has filed a lawsuit against Disneyland because it believes an employee dressed as Alice in Wonderland's White Rabbit acted in a racist manner toward its children.
Jason Black Jr. tells Fox5SanDiego.com that he went to embrace the pretend animal, only for the employee to turn his back on the six-year old.
"It's made me feel sad because I wanted to really hug him," Jason said.
Similarly, Jason's brother Elijah reportedly tried to hold the character's hand, but the rabbit refused the gesture.
The father of these disappointed kids, Jason LeRoy Black Sr., claims he and his children were discriminated against because they saw the same costumed employee hugging a pair of white park goers and gladly posing for pictures with them.
