Like everyone else in the Glee cast, Dianna Agron is in mourning right now.
The actress - who starred for three seasons as Quinn Fabray and whose character dated Cory Monteith's Finn at the outset of the series - has released a statement in light of her former colleague's passing.
"I have never lost a friend. In this difficult time, I am leaning on all of the wonderful memories we shared with Cory, how many ways he was able to make us smile," Agron said. "Glee was a gift to all of us. It gave us a family in this industry."
Dianna is the latest Fox star to voice her grief over Monteith's overdose on heroin and alcohol.
Lea Michele has spoken out a couple times through her publicist, while Naya Rivera has said the cast is reeling from this tragedy and requests a bit of privacy.
"We really cut our teeth and grew up on this show," Agron added. "In playing underdogs, we learned that we had dug into the hearts of our viewers and that we could stay there.
"Cory is so deserving of that place in everyone's hearts. He was one of the most generous and kind people that I have ever met. He had a smart, curious mind, he was an enormous talent. He was loving to not only me but my family."
She concluded her thoughtful words by signaling out Michele, who had been dating Monteith for about a year when he died.
