Duck Dynasty Season 5 Episode 6, "G.I. Si," featured the gang staging an epic battle in the name of G.I. Joe, who played a key role in the install ment.
Miss Kay tried to encourage her brood of boys to give their old toys to charity, an idea that was warmly received until Willie saw a G.I. Joe action figure.
Willie urged Kay to reconsider, given its sentimental value, but quickly, this devolved into an argument over who the famous action figure really belonged to.
Jase claimed G.I. Joe was his, words were exchanged, and before you knew it (and yet you knew it was coming), Willie and Jase take it to the extreme.
A debate about who would make a better soldier - Uncle Si pointing out that he was the only actual soldier in the family - leads to a Duck Dynasty paintball war.
To the winner goes G.I. Joe himself.
Willie's kids and others were brought in to round out the teams, while Uncle Si was picked last and decides to "go mercenary" on his family members.
Si ended up playing spoiler in the war, which ended without a clear resolution, except that everyone gets along and shares laughs and prayers at the end.
Ownership of G.I. Joe? Still unclear.
The Duck Commander himself, Phil Robertson, managed to stay out of it, opting instead to help youngest son Jep with a home improvement project.
