We've seen a daughter slam her mother in an obituary before.
And we've seen a newspaper actually publish an obituary for Walter White.
But this is a first: A Delaware resident named Walter George Bruhl Jr. penned his very own obituary just days before he passed away at the age of 80 on Sunday.
Walter's son, Sam, posted the moving/humorous piece on Facebook and it opens with the following paragraph:
"Walter George Bruhl Jr. of Newark and Dewey Beach is a dead person; he is no more; he is bereft of life; he is deceased; he has rung down the curtain and gone to join the choir invisible; he has expired and gone to meet his maker."
Sam wrote to friends that it was "typical" of his dad to "cut out the middleman," in this manner, adding:
"He's the only man I've ever known to be able to add his own humor like this. So glad I got to read one more thing from my favorite writer."
Read Walter's obituary below and take note of his closing line: "Walt would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kinds for some poor unfortunate soul in his name."
You heard the man, people!
