Tragedy struck the 2014 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival last night.
A car broke through a barricade at the event in Austin around 12:30 a.m., killing two attendees and injuring 23 more.
According to local police, the wounded were treated at a hospital, with up to seven suffering serious injuries.

"This is extremely unusual," Lt. Moon of the Austin Police Dept. told Rolling Stone. "There have been some very rare instances of vehicles striking pedestrians in the entertainment area, but this is the first time it's ever affected a SXSW event."
The unidentified driver has been taken into custody and his blood-alcohol level is under investigation.
Authorities say he swerved to avoid a DUI check point; drove the wrong way down a one-way street; and then accelerated into a crowd of people standing behind a temporary barricade.
He will reportedly be charged with two counts of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault.
The victims were in line for a Tyler, the Creator show, which was canceled shortly after the accident took place, much to the chagrin of the artist.
