Purdy felt mostly pain. She was admitted to hospital shortly after her performance with a shoulder injury and was unable to perform the group routine.
The athlete's efforts in the dress rehearsal dance was used to judge the routine, fittingly performed to "Livin La Vida Loca," with Amy unable to participate.
The team had well wishes for Purdy, who they missed during the number, but she nailed her dress rehearsal performance, which was taken into account.
Her status is uncertain, but assuming she can go next week, she's one of six contestants remaining in this retooled 18th season of the ABC smash.
