When will the next racist shoe drop for Donald Sterling?
The Los Angeles Clippers owner is doing what he can to ensure this never actually happens.
With two audio recordings (below) of this billionaire having already been released by girlfriend V. Stiviano, sources tell TMZ that Sterling contacted Stiviano yesterday in the hopes of reaching a financial settlement.
There are reportedly hundreds of hours of tapes out there and Sterling is doing all he can to ensure no more videos see the light of disgusting day.
Lawyers for both sides are discussing terms of a settlement now.
Over the past 48 hours, Sterling has been caught telling Stiviano to stay away from black people in public; and has also come across like a slave owner, telling her in another recording that they should be grateful because he gives them food and money.
The Clippers responded to the words of their owner by wearing their warm-up jerseys inside-out yesterday in a playoff loss to the Golden State Warriors.
Many have spoken out against the owner, including President Obama, who finds Sterling's words "incredibly offensive."
Why did Stiviano release the tapes?
She is supposedly peeved that the Clippers and Donald Sterling have embraced a lawsuit filed by Sterling's wife Shelly against Stivianio, in which she claims Stivianio stole $1.8 million from Donald.
