Cindy McCain: Gwyneth Paltrow is a Joke! >>Hollywood

While speaking at a conference recently, Gwyneth Paltrow compared negative Internet comments to war trauma, an analogy that was understandably not taken lightly by many veterans and their families.

Now, one very prominent wife and mother of soldiers is speaking out against Paltrow's ill-considered remark.

Cindy McCain, wife of US Senator and former presidential candidate John McCain blasted Paltrow on Twitter today:

"Gweneth Paltrow is a joke," McCain tweeted. "Her life is like taking bullets for a soldier. What a joke! My 2 sons serving in the military should talk to her."

McCain added: Perhaps Gweneth Paltrow should go out on patrol with some soldiers. Kind of like a Red Carpet in her mind I guess!"

We can't help but wonder if Mrs. McCain intentionally misspelled Gwyneth's name to subtly diss the famously status-obsessed actress.

In case you missed it, the offending remark made by Gwyneth was: 

"You come across (online comments) about yourself and about your friends, and it's a very dehumanizing thing," said Paltrow while speaking at a conference. "It's almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing."

Yup. It was really that bad.

This, of course, is the second time Gwyneth's insensitive remarks have landed the actress in trouble in recent months. In March, Paltrow's "working mom" comments buried her in an avalanche of negative press.
