Sandra Bullock's divorce from Jesse James was one of the ugliest, most public celebrity breakups in recent history.
It's not surprising that four years later the Oscar-winner remains single, opting to focus on her career and her son, Louis, rather than her love life.
That may be soon to change, however, as Bullock has reportedly been spending a lot of time with Captain America actor Chris Evans, and friends are nudging the actress to turn her flirtations into a full-blown relationship.
"They have been talking more than ever and they flirt anytime they spend time together," a source tells OK! magazine. "She's been his dream girl for most of his life, so it would be a fairy-tale ending for Chris."
Chris has stated in the past that Sandra was his celebrity crush growing up.
The actor has been romantically linked to a number of starlets since his career took off in 2011. Evans dated Minka Kelly most recently, but that relationship ended last year.
"Friends are pressing Sandra to just finally give in and take their relationship to the next level," adds the insider. "It's just a matter of time."
Sources close to the potential couple-to-be say that they've been bringing third wheels along on their dates so as not to appear too serious. Bullock and Evans reportedly made mutual friend Chelsea Handler very uncomfortable during a recent flirty dinner.
