Gwyneth Paltrow Compares Negative Internet Comments to War Trauma >>Hollywood

Diposting oleh blog on Kamis, 29 Mei 2014

Gwyneth Paltrow is no stranger to putting her foot in her mouth.

Paltrow's "working mom" comments went viral for all the wrong reasons back in March, as the actress unintentionally (we hope) insulted millions of struggling parents.

Now, she's done it again by likening her distaste for negative online comments to the trauma endured by soldiers who have experienced combat.

"You come across (online comments) about yourself and about your friends, and it's a very dehumanizing thing," said Paltrow while speaking at a conference. "It's almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing."

Yes...she went there. She compared hate from comment board trolls to the life-altering, psyche-shattering experience of going to war.

In a way, we're actually impressed. We never though Gwyneth would manage to outdo herself in the astonishing insensitivity department. It's not easy to remain so mind-bogglingly out of touch with the rest of the world, but somehow Paltrow manages.

Paltrow, of course, has been in the tabloids recently as a result of her "conscious uncoupling" from husband Chris Martin, an experience the actress would probably liken to a triple holocaust with razor blades on top.

She seems to go out of her way to alienate her ever-shrinking fan base, but then she wonders out loud why people were upset that her PR team paid People magazine to name Gwyneth the world's most beautiful woman.

Hey, maybe she's the one trolling us! War criminal!

We like the same stuff.

I've learned more about myself being married than anything else. I hate to say, "We've got it worked out," because you never know what's going to happen, but we laugh, we're good friends, we like to do the same stuff.
