For a change, Pharrell Williams is not making some folks Happy at the moment.
The singer covers the latest edition of Elle UK in what the magazine describes as "an elaborate Native American headdress," and in what many Twitter users have described as incredibly offense.
The hashtag #NotHappy sprung up online soon after the following image went viral, with Williams quickly releasing a statement to E! News as an apology.
"I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry," Pharrell says of the get-up.
Ironically, the artist discusses "good manners and understanding the value of things" in the interview accompanying the images.
"I took a lot of years to understand the value of things and the value of the people you work with," he says. "The value of your fans who ultimately hold you high and lift you up. We're just hang gliders, dude, and they are carrying us around."
Past instances of similar controversies centers on Ireland Baldwin donning an Indian Halloween costume and Victoria's Secret dressing some models in Native American headgear.
What do you think of Pharrell's cover photo?
And how do you think his apology compares to some other classic celebrity mea culpas?
