Uzo Aduba plays fan-favorite Crazy Eyes on Orange is the New Black, but a new video from Funny or Die asks the question: what would it look like if she played every part on the show?
There's so much brilliance packed into this 3-minute clip that it's hard to pick a favorite highlight, but for us, it doesn't get much better than Aduba slipping into a Lil Wayne impression while trying out for the part of Poussey.
Though come to think of it, her take on Alex Vause is pretty great, too. At least producers know they have someone to fall back on if Laura Prepon ever quits OITNB again.
We recommend that you check out the video above, then watch Orange is the New Black online at TV Fanatic and try to imagine how different the show would be with Uzo in the role of Piper.
As Aduba says in the clip, "I don't think anyone would ever actually call me Taylor Swift."
Well put. As admirably as she morphs into every character on the show (including the eternally silent Norma), we think producers made the right call by casting Uzo as Crazy Eyes.
Not only does she capture every nuance of one of the show's most deceptively complex characters, Aduba disappears into her role so completely that she tops our list of Orange is the New Black stars who look completely different in real life:
