In a story that sounds like a plot line from Breaking Bad, police have charged a prostitute with manslaughter in the heroin overdose death of a Google executive.
Forrest Hayes, 51, and Alix Catherine Tichelman met on SeekingArrangement (dot) com, a quasi-dating site "for sugar daddies and sugar babies" ... seriously.
"Seeking mutually beneficial relationships and arrangements," they had an ongoing relationship, police say, until she gave him heroin and watched him die.
According to officials, this was the mark of a cold-blooded killer, or at least one who felt zero remorse or need to do something after a tragedy happened.
Alix Tichelman, 26, gave Hayes heroin, watched him OD, grabbed her stuff, finished a glass of wine, lowered blinds to hide the body and left, police say.
Hayes reportedly worked on projects such as Google Glass and driverless cars. He leaves behind a wife and five children to grapple with his undoing.
Police are investigating Tichelman's involvement in a similar death in a different state.
On Facebook, Tichelman was AK Kennedy, a model and woman about town who boasted about backstage passes to concerts and posted dozens of photos.
She advertised her modeling portfolio on the ModelMayhem (dot) com website where she described herself as a 5'9", 115-pound, "sweet & sexy vixen."
Pictures of herself in lingerie, black leather bustiers and towering thigh-high boots would certainly back up that claim, but she was hiding a dark side.
She mused on Facebook about her aspirations as a novelist and posted excerpts from her novel-in-progress about a high school girl named Kat.
She wrote that she feared prison, but hated "stupid laws and rules."
