Maybe you've heard by now, but Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are expecting a beautiful baby together this October, and they could not be more elated.
We know, ladies. The feeling is not mutual.
There's no word yet on the sex of the baby Ryan and the pregnant Eva Mendes are expecting, but there's no denying they are over the moon.
"They literally could not be more excited," says a source, adding that the fact that Ryan Gosling will be a father is exciting for him while Eva's "feeling great."
This will be the first child for Gosling, 33, and Mendes, 40, who began dating in 2011. It shocked the web and spawned a slew of hilarious reactions.
The pregnancy wasn't necessarily surprising to the actor's friends, however.
"Ryan adores kids. He has such a way with them," an insider told People.
"He loves being around kids and can't wait to be a dad."
So, what makes Ryan and Eva - maligned as they are among card carrying members of Gosling Nation, simply because Mendes is not them - click?
"She's very friendly and approachable. She's also very independent and Ryan is too," the insider adds. "He loves that Eva isn't prissy. She's like a dude."
"She's outgoing and makes everyone feel great."
