Well, that didn't last long.
Hot soccer fan Axelle Despiegelaere landed a L'Oreal commercial after World Cup fans drooled over the Belgian beauty while she was rooting on her team in Brazil.
The partnership proved to be short-lived, however, as L'Oreal axed Axelle after a controversial Facebook photo went viral.
In the wake of the Kendall Jones hunting photo scandal, a picture of Axelle posing with a gazelle that she shot during an African hunting trip proved to be a deal breaker for the cosmetics giant.
Even worse than the photo itself, might be the 17-year-old's attempt at humor in the caption:
"Hunting is not a matter of life and death," wrote Axelle. "It's much more important than that...this was about one year ago...ready to hunt Americans today haha"
Oh, Axelle...you know Americans being gunned down is kind of a sore subject at the moment, right?
Axelle tried to make things right in the comments section, stating, "I didn't mean to offend anyone...it was a joke," but it proved to be too, little too late.
You hate to see someone so young pay for their stupidity so severely, but let's not feel too bad for the girl who little launched her career by sitting around looking pretty.
