But movie fans took note of a 110-second commercial plopped down in the middle of the broadcast. It featured new footage from Gone Girl, David Fincher's upcoming adaption of Gillian Flynn's smash novel, and it gave us our first look at Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) meeting his future wife Amy (Rosamund Pike). "I'm the guy to save you... from all this awesomeness," Nick tells Amy, before the trailer delves into the mystery at the heart of the upcoming thriller. Gone Girl Teaser Gone Girl hits theaters on October 3. We absolutely cannot wait.
