But certainly we can all agree that K-dolla sign brought her A-game to Instagram during the event:
Yes, in case naked Amber Rose wasn't enough award show nudity for you, topless Kesha was there to pick up the slack.
Sadly, her rainbow-colored locks are obscuring her awesome boobs, but we'll take all the topless Instagramming we can get.
Besides, until the Free the Nipple campaign is victorious IG will remain a tragically nip-free zone.
And what was Kesha's reason for posting this revealing backstage selfie? Simple, really:
"Just doesn't feel right NOT posting a partially nude pre VMA look. #rainbownakedboob"
There you have it. While Miley Cyrus was getting all political, Kesha was raising awareness of her own boobs. Now that's a cause we think anyone can get behind.
