Just days after reports that Nick Cannon called Mariah Carey "a mess," and told friends that he worried about her mental health, Cannon was spotted walking out of Mariah's apartment building in NYC.
It's not known if the couple's 3-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe were at the apartment at the time, but sources say that recently Cannon complained that he rarely sees his kids.
The kids were reportedly not with Nick when he left Upper East Side apartment, which leaves two possibilities:
1. Nick is so desperate to spend some time with his children he's willing to put up with Mariah to do so, or 2. Nick is trying to save his family by giving his marriage one last shot.
It it's the latter, we're guessing it's a sad case of too little too late for Nick:
Not only is Mariah pissed that Nick confirmed their separation in an interview, but yesterday a different member of the Cannon family caused further damage to Mariah's famous ego.
Nick's dad blasted Mariah on Facebook, claiming - among other things - that Nick had grown tired of Mariah's fluctuating weight and constant lying.
So while we respect the man for making his family a top priority, we'd say at this point, Nick should probably keep his distance from Mariah for the sake of his own safety.
