A newly-engaged Brittany Kerr posted a photo of herself kissing Jason Aldean on Instagram, gushing about his proposal and how happy the couple is.
"We've been on cloud nine the past few days!!" the American Idol alum and former Charlotte Bobcats cheerleader wrote on the social media site.
Kerr said her "heart has never been more full of happiness and love."
"Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man. So many blessings and memories are in our future and SO thankful I get to share them with him."
"Thanks for all the support and kind words y'all have given us."
It will be the first marriage for Brittany Kerr, who also shows off her engagement ring in the photo, which not accidentally glows in the camera flash.
Jason Aldean proposed to Kerr on Tuesday, his rep confirmed.
They were first linked two years ago, when they were spotted kissing in a Los Angeles bar scandalously, as he was still married to Jessica Ussery.
Aldean and wife Jessica, who have two daughters together, split last year; Jason and Brittany went public as a couple for the first time in 2014.
Regarded by some as a home-wrecker, Kerr has taken some flak from Aldean fans, though he has publicly chastised people on Twitter for judging.
Aldean admits he's made mistakes in his life, but says he's a better person as a result and would not change a thing if given the chance, and that's that.
