No, this is not an actual announcement of the gender, just a reminder that Jessa is growing a baby inside her and they are aware of the gender.
Lame, yes. But hey, at least people can vote on what you think the gender of #BabySeewald could be. If you're right, you get absolutely nothing.
Bottom line, the Duggars are clinging to whatever attention they can get, even if the Josh Duggar molestation scandal forever tarnished their brand.
They'll probably never be on TV again - save for the TLC sexual abuse special they hope will rebuild their image - but there is always the Internet.
Not that they're pro-Internet most of the time. Anything that serves as a breeding ground for sensual and worldly content is a big no-no in Duggarland.
It's a fine line, and paradoxical, since the world wide web helped them gain so many fans over the years, while also aiding in their recent downfall.
