Bryan Singer, the director best known for his work on the X-Men franchise, has been sued by a man who alleges Singer molested him as a child.
In legal documents filed this week, the unnamed accuser (who is approximately 30 years old), claims Singer lured him to a mansion in Encino, California when he was around 14 years old.
The event supposedly had a reputation for featuring "sexual contact between adult males and the many teenage boys who were present for the parties."
According to the lawsuit, Singer plied the teenager with alcohol and promised him a role in an upcoming film.
Singer is then accused of performing oral sex on the teenager and forcing him to return the sexual favor under water.
The suit also claims Singer gave the accuser cocaine on another occasion and teased him with a part in an X-Men movie.
The director's attorney, Marty Singer, has come out and denied all charges.
"The claims made against Bryan Singer are completely without merit. We are very confident that Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit.
"It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at a time when Bryan's new movie is about to open in a few weeks."
