Looks like all that talk of mutual masturbation was for nothing.
After hammering out the weirdest marriage agreement in history, former Olympian Johnny Weir and his husband Victor Voronov have decided to proceed with their divorce.
Johnny and Victor announced their split back in March, just weeks after Johnny's commentary and flamboyant fashion choices at the Sochi games made him a worldwide trending topic.
The ugly drama that followed forced Weir to quit Celebrity Apprentice just a week after filming began.
For a while, it looked as though the estranged pair might be able to work things out with a "post-nup" agreement that - among other things - forbade "aggressive flirting" and mutual masturbation with men outside the marriage.
Now Victor says despite the bizarre deal, the divorce is "100% still happening." The cause ? Johnny's mother:
"Johnny's meddling mother was definitely the source of the breakdown of our marriage," Voronov reportedly told Us Weekly.
Yes, that quote sounds made-up, but other sources close to the couple have confirmed that Johnny's mother is overbearing and her presence in his life has caused problems in the past.
Weir has also confirmed that the post-nup that made the rounds online was not sufficient to save his marriage.
The skater issued a statement saying, "I had hope and Victor and I were talking about reconciliation but it was for naught."
So it looks like these two are really headed for divorce court. Hopefully Johnny will retain full custody of his fantastic wardrobe.
