Call it a conscious uncoupling over a "conscious uncoupling," or just call it a dude quitting his job, but CEO of GOOP Seb Bishop is also bailing on Gwyneth Paltrow.
"A week and a half ago, he abruptly resigned from GOOP," an insider says. "It's really suspicious ... I think something weird is going on with GOOP."
Bishop, a British entrepreneur who joined Paltrow's lifestyle website/empire back in 2011, reportedly quit over her "conscious uncoupling" split with Chris Martin.
Specifically, the announcement famously posted to GOOP that broke the news.
A source told the New York Post that Bishop, 40, and Paltrow "disagreed on the direction of GOOP, partly that she used the site as vehicle for her personal life."
The "conscious uncoupling" announcement was basically the last straw.
Paltrow, 41, is also moving GOOP's offices from London, where the family lived for 10 years before recently moving, to L.A., near her Brentwood home.
Seb Bishop, tellingly, "decided not to relocate his family to Los Angeles."
Paltrow announced her divorce from Chris Martin on March 25, although there had been signs that the pair was living separate lives for some time.
The couple "made the decision to split a long time ago," a source said.
Or did they? Another insider claims Gwyneth wanted a fake marriage for show and to get divorced secretly; Martin, conversely, pushed for the public announcement.
Either way, it's now quite a scandal for the perfect-seeming Paltrow:

We've gone through some terrible times where it's been really, really hard, but I've sort of come through those times with a much deeper understanding of myself. And we're still married. We worked through it. I think it's easier to get divorced. But I think the more you keep at it, the more you end up seeing the value in it. But man, sometimes it is not easy.
