Kanye West and French Montana can't get enough of the Kardashian sisters, but a 24-year-old British man named Mike Amess has the opposite problem: Kim and kompany literally make him vomit.
Amess says the problem started after the release of Kim's sex tape in 2007. At the time, Mike was a closeted gay teen who tried watched the tape to try to suppress his homosexual urges. That worked about as well as you'd expect,
Mike described his encounter with Kim's porn to London's Daily Mail: "I downloaded the video and watched it secretly in my bedroom, but the sight of Kim writhing around with her huge bum and the sound of her horrible high-pitched wailing repulsed me.
Mike adds, "By the end of the tape, I had burst into tears. The experience left me terrified and I never wanted to see Kim's face again."
Sadly, no responsible adult told Mike that that's a perfectly natural reaction to Kim's tape and it has nothing do with sexual orientation. As a result, he says, he continues to associate Kim and her sisters with this painful adolescent memory.
Naturally, the ensuing years were rough on Mike as Kim and her family continue to become more and more famous.
Amess says he reached rock bottom with the release of Kanye's video for "Bound 2."
"Seeing Kim naked, with her boobs bouncing around like that brought back memories of that horrendous sex tape," says Mike. "before I knew it, I was sweating like a pig and throwing up."
So could it be that feeling repulsed by the Kardashians is a legitimate medical condition. If so, it may be time for doctors to set aside cancer research and get to work on this disease that clearly afflicts millions.
