Pretty Little Liars celebrated its 100th episode last night in an explosive fashion.
Literally!
The hour initially centered on Ali's return to school, but Mona quickly made her presence felt by revealing a secret video of Ali slapping her and talking about all the "losers" in Rosewood.
We also learned the identity of the young woman found in Ali's grace: Bethany Young, a 17-year-old patient at Radley who apparently escaped the night Ali disappeared. Interesting, huh?
Let's rundown Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 5 Liar by Liar, shall we?
SPENCER Mrs. Hastings announced that she's leaving Spencer's father - and she wants her daughter to go with her! Why is she making this move? She's pretty sure Spencer's dad killed Ali's mom in an attempt to get her off his child's case. Fortunately, Spencer has Toby's borad and handsome shoulder to cry on.
ARIA She ate a lot of key lime pie and found comfort in Ezra with news of Shana's death spreading this week. "I don't ever want you to say you're sorry again," he told her, prior to throwing her on the counter and making sweet, statutory love to her. Oh, yes, Ezria is back!
HANNA Her reunion with Caleb at the cafe was very awkward… and then he wouldn't even return her calls later that evening. Travis tried to cheer her up, but come on: we know Caleb is the only guy for this gal.
EMILY Sydney invited Emily to a Frozen sing-along, but first, Emily had to deal with Alison (her own Ice Queen, really).
"I always made you think your feelings for me were totally one-sided," Alison told her. "That wasn't true. Those kisses weren't just for practice." Girl-on-girl make out alert time!!!
ELSEWHERE:
- Lucas has a girlfriend.
- Jenna appears to be close with Sydney.
- We learned Jenna was living in New York when Shana attacked the girls.
- Oh, and A BLEW UP TOBY'S HOUSE!
