There's a singing showdown on The Real Housewives of New York City Season 6 Episode 18 and as Ramona was quick to point out, there was no auto-tuning. Boy, do we wish there had been. We recap the singing that should be kept to the shower in our THG +/- review.
Ramona Singer couldn't have been more happy…or more drunk. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between the two but husband Mario was about to sing her a love ballad in public.
Plus 15 to Ramona. For her I'm sure it was very sweet. Minus 25 for the rest of us who had to sit through the song. Why does everyone on these shows think they can sing?
At least Harry had a plan to keep himself entertained for the night. Eat lots of chicken wings and have sex with Sonja in the restroom.
And why has Sonja heard Mario sing in the shower?!?
Plus 45 to LuAnn. Whether she didn't want to share the spotlight or simply didn't feel up to the challenge of a live stage performance, she chose not to sing. And we are thankful not to have to sit through one more housewive's (or house-husband's) performance.
Minus 33 to Ramona. She was loud, rude, and a complete bully to LuAnn. Talk about a graceless drunk. Perhaps she should cut back on her own Pinot if she gets that mean…or up the medication.
Speaking of medication, Aviva couldn't wait to hear how her friends worried about her on their trip to Montana. Minus 10. Even when Aviva's not there, she expects everything to revolve around her.
Was it just me, or did Sonja almost look gleeful as she broke the news about everyone talking behind Aviva's back? My question is, why had we never seen Aviva with an inhaler before she decided to bail on this trip?
But if the ladies calling Aviva a liar is all it takes to get her off my TV screen then plus 50. I'm all for it.
Carole was getting ready for her book tour in London, remodeling her apartment and dropping the names of Barbara Walters, Katie Couric, Kelly Ripa, and Ralph Fienes as though that made her more interesting. Minus 12. It didn't I was still bored.
Once again I was dumbfounded at how much of an ass Josh can be. Yes, Kristen can be whiny and she doesn't always know when to drop things but I keep wondering why she's with this guy? He shows her no respect and openly mocks her more often than not. He even chose to move their family from NYC to LA and then back again without ever consulting her. Minus 60. That's not a marriage.
Even when Josh says they need therapy, he still manages to be a condescending jackass as he explains to Kristen that, "She's going to help you understand that you have to be more sensitive to my life and my business."
I hope E-Boost makes enough to cover his alimony payments. Maybe his second wife will understand that work is more important than his wife and family.
I don't think I've ever wished for the demise of someone else's marriage but Kristen can do better.
