Alyssa Milano gave birth to a daughter named Elizabella Dylan in early September.
And now, nearly two months later, the actress has given fans an up close and very personal look at her young child... breastfeeding style!
Milano has become the latest celebrity to post a photo to Instagram of herself providing her baby with sustenance via her boobs, an act that many believe should be reserved for the privacy of one's own home.
But not Milano. And not Gisele Bundchen. And not Jaime King. Not many stars who have taken this act public in order to prove a point.
The former Mistresses star (she has left the ABC drama to focus on parenthood) captioned the black-and-white image with a quote from an acclaimed Czech author, writing:
"Ah, the joy of suckling! She lovingly watched the fishlike motions of the toothless mouth and she imagined that with her milk there flowed into her little son her deepest thoughts, concepts, and dreams.' ~Milan Kundera."
Kristen Bell is also among those famous people who has told critics to calm the eff down about breastfeeding.
"They're just boobs!" Bell told Cosmopolitan in June. "Calm down. They're under our shirt whether you're looking at them or not."
Gisele Bundchen breastfeeding and getting all made up for a modeling shoot. That is some impressive multitasking right there.
She makes a good point, doesn't she? We don't approve of breastfeeding puppies, but babies? Sure. Whenever and wherever it's needed.
