Pardon the pun, but Kid Rock has been on a roll lately.
And by "roll," we mean that he's been effectively convincing us that he's even more of a bigoted, ignorant asshat than we thought, which is no easy feat.
Yesterday, he commented on Beyonce, and here's your trigger warning, in case hateful morons cause you to lose control:
"People are like Beyonce's hot, got a nice f--king ass," quoth Mr. Rock. "I'm like cool, 'I like skinny white chicks with big t-ts. [She] doesn't really do much for me."
He went on to argue that Bey hasn't had any major hits, because apparently the planet that Kid Rock lives on doesn't have Spotify.
"Beyonce doesn't have a f--king 'Purple Rain,'" said Rock. "But she's the biggest thing on Earth. How can you be that big without at least one 'Sweet Home Alabama' or 'Old Time Rock and Roll?'"
To be clear: Rock's comments aren't necessarily racist (though that's not to say that he isn't a racist). He's stating a preference and he's entitled to his opinion and blah, blah, blah...
Yes, we don't know if he's racist, but we can be certain that he's a jackass.
Basically, he doesn't like Beyonce, so he's grasping at straws to back up his opinion, but the facts just aren't there. Regardless of your personal feelings about her music, Beyonce has had a ton of hits.
We wish we had some statistics to back up the fact that she's crazy hot, too, because we're pretty sure that's also an indisputable fact.
The point is, Kid Rock should go trash Beyonce with Mike Huckabee, so that the rest of us don't have to hear it. Oh, and if they could do it in some sort of vault with a limited oxygen supply, that would be cool, too. Thanks, guys!
