Earlier today, Leonard Nimoy died at the age of 83.
The beloved actor, best known for his role as Dr. Spock on Star Trek (the TV show and the movie versions), passed away at his home in Bel-Air, having lost a battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Last year, Nimoy went public with the diagnosis and blamed the disease on many years of smoking, even though he had given up the habit over three decades ago.
