Who is Noah Galloway?!?
A U.S. Army veteran who now works as a fitness trainer, Galloway is a native of Birmingham, Alabama.
In 2005, while deployed as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Galloway lost his left arm above the elbow and left leg above the knee in an Improved Explosive Device attack.
He was unconscious for five days after being transported to a German hospital following the incident.
It took Galloway awhile to bounce back from the lost of two limbs, but he now travels the country as a motivational speaker, while also competing in various kinds of distance and adventure races.
Galloway - who will team with Sharna Burgess on Dancing with the Stars - recently created the No Excuses Charitable Fund. It raises money and awareness for organizations such as Operation Enduring Warrior and the YMCA of Alabaster.
In other words: Good luck, other Dancing with the Stars contestants, in topping Galloway for Most Inspirational Season 20 Hopeful.
