Paul Walker Crash: Road Bumps, Hydroplaning to Blame? >>Hollywood

The car crash that killed Paul Walker may have been the result of reflective plastic markers in the street, his family and accident reconstruction experts believe.

The late actor's family members have been in touch with stunt experts who have gone to the site and come back with a solid theory about what happened.

A speeding car that strikes the plastic markers, also known as Botts' Dots, at high speeds will hydroplane, causing the driver to quickly lose all control.

Making matters worse? The fact that the intense Porsche driven by Paul's friend Roger Rodas was outfitted with special racing tires with very little tread.

Porsche even sent out a memo to its own dealers regarding the Carrera GT, saying that the car can't even "drive over a beer can that is lying on its side."

"It will crush the can and damage the carbon fiber under panels," the memo said, adding, "You need to be aware of what type of road surface you are on."

In other words, look out for dips, pot holes, seam heights, etc. Many of us drive over these things daily, but at 30 mph and in cars built to withstand it.

By all accounts, nothing about the Paul Walker crash involved low speeds or a car regular folks would typically drive, so there's little margin for error.

Law enforcement sources say they haven't concluded the exact cause of the accident, but it appears that a street race was not a factor, even if speed was.

Tila Tequila, meanwhile, says Paul Walker was murdered. It's unclear if the reflective road bumps play into the reality star's conspiracy theory at all.
