Cate Blanchett Dedicates BAFTA Win to Philip Seymour Hoffman Feb 17th 2014, 14:57, by Hilton Hater Cate Blanchett won Best Actress at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards last night. But the star, who has found herself caught in the middle of the ugly Dylan Farrow-Woody Allen scandal, didn't talk much about herself or her role in Blue Jasmine during her acceptance speech. Instead, she dedicated the trophy to Philip Seymour Hoffman, with whom Blanchett costarred in The Talented Mr. Ripley. "Phil, you're monumental talent, your generosity and your unflinching quest for truth - both in art and in life - will be missed my so many people," said the Oscar favorite.
