As previously detailed, Kim Kardashian is being snubbed by the Hollywood elite. Kanye West has been unable to get his fiancee into A-List events.
But actors, actresses and singers aren't the only ones uninterested in an association with this former sex tape star.
According to Radar Online sources, Barack Obama wants "nothing to do" with her either!
Throughout the President's 2012 re-election run, Kardashian was unabashed in her support for the Commander-in-Chief.
She wanted to be a "surrogate" for the campaign a source claims, but the feeling of affection wasn't exactly mutual.
Kardashian "was not the young, cool, image they wanted to portray at all," an insider tells Radar of how the Obama team viewed the reality star. "Even though she kept asking, the campaign would never let her do anything in an official capacity."
That's likely because Kim let Ray J officially pound her on camera in the Kim Kardashian sex tape.
"Kim is political poison," the source adds. "Having her involved in a political event or with a candidate is the last thing people who are serious about getting elected want."
But Kim isn't done trying to be relevant in D.C. She attended a fundraiser last week on behalf of congressional candidate Marianne Williamson… but she failed to impress, witnesses say.
Conversely, Katy Perry attended the same event and has been used in the past by candidates to sway voters in their direction.
Katy is on a different level than Kim," Radar concludes. "Everybody loves Katy. Kim is so controversial and it's just too risky for any candidate to have her involved."
