Demi Lovato is returning to her roots. Literally.
The singer - who has dyed her hair is pink in the past and recently shaved part of her head - has gone back to her natural color, showing off her freshly dark locks via a couple of late-night Twitter posts this week.
Paraphrasing one of her own hits tracks, Demi wrote along with the following images:
"Gonna give my hair a breeaaakkk, give my hair a break, gonna give my hair a break, my hair a break..."
Lovato, who has suffered for real from mental illness, joked awhile back to Ellen DeGeneres that she keeps changing her hair color because she's bipolar.
The artist got the latest cut and color at the Nine Zero One salon in West Hollywood.
Lovato is on a mini hiatus break from her 44-date Neon Lights tour, which concluded its North American run March 30.
The shows will resume in South America on April 22 when the star performs in São Paulo, Brazil.
