While CBS nixed Rihanna from Thursday Night Football due to her tangential link to domestic violence, her famous attacker performed live on NBC.
The 25-year-old R&B singer dropped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to perform a couple of tracks from his forthcoming album X. Take a look:
Chris performed the title track "X" and his summer hit, "Loyal," on the show in typical Breezy fashion, showing off his vocal stylings and sick dance moves.
He also dressed in red from top to bottom, symbolic of Chris Brown's Bloods gang ties, which may or may not have almost gotten him killed recently.
The singer sported a backwards hat, sneakers, red Hammer pants, a matching hoodie, sunglasses and a gold chain as he brought the house down.
You almost forget sometimes, given his off-stage shenanigans, how talented this guy is and how he's let that become secondary to his train wreck life.
X is finally set to drop September 16 after over a year of promotion, and delays. The first single, "Fine China," was released way back in March ... 2013.
Chris was sentenced to anger management rehab in November, following his arrest for assault in D.C., then spent months in jail after he violated probation.
The album's release this suffered even more setbacks, but with the assault case behind him and the recent assassination attempt failing, it's full steam ahead!
