The late, beloved actor Paul Walker would have turned 41 today, September 12. and his family, friends and fans are paying tribute to the man on his birthday.
"This day is a bittersweet one. Today I'm reminded how much I miss you," the actor's 28-year-old brother Cody Walker wrote to Paul today on Facebook.
"But at the same time, this day is also a reminder of how many years of memories, adventures, lessons and love I was lucky enough to share with you."
"Today is a celebration of all of those years!"
"I always knew you were a pretty awesome brother, but these last months have shown me how awesome of an example you were for the entire world."
"Thank you for always and for continuing to be the best role model a brother could ask for," he concludes. "Happy Birthday, bro. I love and miss you."
Paul Walker died in a car crash along with one of his good friends, Roger Rodas in Santa Clarita, Calif., while attending a charity event on Thanksgiving weekend.
The actor was on hiatus from filming the seventh install ment of the Fast & The Furious franchise at the time of his tragic and shocking passing.
Walker is survived by his family and a 15-year-old daughter, Meadow Walker, who also shared a message on Instagram in his honor this morning.
"Happy Birthday, I love you," she wrote as a simple caption of a picture showing her as a baby with her father, who loved her more than anything in the world.
