UK model Josie Cunningham, who is no stranger to controversy, is really stirring it up this week by calling breastfeeding ... well, you gotta read her Tweets.
Cunningham admits having smoked and drank when pregnant to drown her sorrows, and contemplated an abortion in order to go on the show Big Brother.
She also got pregnant by Curtis Davies after dating him for 18 months, only it turned out to not be Davies, but a man impersonating the British football pro.
Yes, that happened apparently. The point is, it's hard for her to outdo her own outrageousness. But she did in attacking breastfeeding. What did she say?
- "I wish people would stop asking if I'm breast feeding like Kimberly Walsh. No I'm not! I think the idea is vile and borderline incest!"
- "People saying its natural.... Maybe it was before powdered milk - in the same way it was 'natural' to walk around naked before clothes ..."
- "but you would soon kick off if I started walking around naked. It's time to change."
Kimberly Walsh is a singer and actress in the UK and a noted advocate of breastfeeding. Not surprisingly, she faced some serious backlash over this.
For a woman who has experienced such heartbreak and faced a lot of criticism already, it's surprising in a sense that she'd come at other moms like this.
Some people really think this about breastfeeding, however, and it will continue to fuel the Mommy Wars as long as they make it known so crudely.
Don't get us wrong, there's room for people on both sides of the spectrum to live and let live, but incest? Really Josie? Does anyone really believe that?
Even if she's going over the top on purpose for media attention, which we have to think she is, it furthers people's actual beliefs that this is somehow wrong.
