Thursday's Parenthood Season 6 Episode 4 featured a number of new developments for our favorite Braverman family members as the final season heats up.
The most notably, and largely sad, takeaway from last night?
"We need to tell them that we're not getting back together."
Obviously the emotional high point was Joel and Julia worrying about the consequences of their separation on their children on Parenthood Season 6 Episode 4.
When those words were said, it was jarring, hitting us like a ton of bricks.
It's no surprise it was hard - nay, impossible - for her to say that to their kids. Instead, she told Sydney that the future is not yet know and it's okay to be mad.
What we didn't see was Sydney actually get scolded for bullying, but it's clear Julia and Joel are reeling from the impact of their marriage collapsing.
Depressingly, its fallout is undoubtedly ongoing with no end in sight. When you watch Parenthood online, he sure to keep the tissues handy, you'll need 'em.
