On Survivor Season 29 Episode 4, one of the players considers throwing an immunity challenge in the hopes of voting off one of their weakest players.

Did that risky gambit pay off, or did it backfire hardcore?

When Survivor Season 29 Episode 4 began, it didn't shape up like an install ment that would prove particularly noteworthy, but things have a way of changing.

In a hurry on this show. But the one old adage rings true:

Don't overthink things, and don't throw the challenge.

The idea is tempting because this is a game in which you must outwit and outlast as well as merely outplay, and gaining the upper hand is hard to do.

One can understand the temptation to go there, but to actually pull the trigger on it is a dangerous maneuver that is almost never worth the risk potential.

Drew learned this hard way in San Juan del Sur.

He insisted, for reasons we're still not sure about, that losing his tribe's challenge on purpose and lobbying to get rid of Kelley was a superior strategic move.

So convinced was he that Kelley was there while he was trying to force her out. This was not a plot heavy on subterfuge or subtlety. And boy, how it cost him.

Jeremy had seen enough of this recklessness and hubris, among other words we might use, and joined the women in voting Drew out of the game.

Are you happy about that result? Do you agree?

While it's easy to play Thursday morning quarterback now that the die has been cast and the votes tallied, it seemed like a poor move at the onset.
