When Amber Portwood slammed Gary Shirley and Kristina Anderson in a recent interview, it seemed like a case of more baby mama drama from a woman who's already provided plenty over the years.
Now, however, sources say Portwood was especially angry (even by Amber Portwood standards), as she had recently learned that Gary and Kristina are expecting their first child together.
"Gary told Amber that Kristina is pregnant with his baby about a month ago," an insider tells Radar Online. "Amber was really upset."
The news came at a time when Portwood seemed intent on making peace with her past. Amber quashed her beef with Jenelle Evans recently in an unexpected display of maturity from both parties.
After that, Portwood formed a friendship with Kailyn Lowry, seemingly showing all the world that she has no interest in the sort of petty feuds that have defined the Teen Mom franchise for so long.
She has no such peaceable attitude toward Shirley, however, as friends say she was secretly hoping for a reconciliation and believes Anderson got knocked up just to save her relationship.
So it was a valiant effort on Portwood's part, but it looks as though she's destined to live a life chock-full of drama. Bad news, unless she's still hoping for a spin-off reality series.
