Ever since the world learned that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second child, the Duchess of Cambridge has been largely absent from public life.
Kate's canceled public appearances on several occasions as a result of Hyperemesis Gravidarum - a condition characterized by severe morning sickness.
On Wednesday, Kate pulled out of another scheduled event at the last minute, this time without issuing a statement or sending a different member of the royal family in her place.
Many Brits have grown increasingly concerned about the Duchess' seemingly worsening health, and the press have been wondering aloud if she'll simply keep out of the public eye for the remainder of her pregnancy.
The situation seemed bleak, but there's good news on the horizon, as Kate has scheduled an event for October 21.
Palace officials have announced that along with Prince William, Kate is planning to help welcome President of Singapore Tony Yan Yem at London's Royal Garden Hotel in less than two weeks.
Sources tell People magazine that Kate "very much hopes to be able to be able to undertake this engagement, but as with all recent engagements, her attendance will be reviewed closer to the time, depending on her health."

Fortunately, in most cases, Hyperemesis Gravidarum is at its worst in the early weeks of a pregnancy, so Kate may soon be on the mend.
